Snails and Armadillos

One evening recently Evalyn and I were getting ready to read some bedtime books on the couch. Jadie the Cat was snuggled in one corner. I said "Look, Jadie's rolled into a ball!" Evalyn replied, "She's an armadillo!"


While finishing reading a book at Grammum's house, Evalyn and I were sitting on her big girl bed looking through the pictures again. Evalyn was twirling her hair with her finger and told me, "I'm doing a snail in my hair."
